Joseph Rand Couture B.S. (Forensic Geology) has lectured and led expeditions over the past 40 years for Linfield College, Marylhurst University, Pacific University, Portland Community College, Portland Parks and Recreation, Smithsonian, Nature Expeditions, National Audobon, the Sierra Club, Nature Conservancy, Linblad Ship Tours, Cruise West Ship Tours, National Elderhostel, and many small tour operators throughout the Pacific Northwest. These expeditions included tours in many National Parks ie. Yellowstone, Olympics N.P., Mt Rainier, Crater Lake, North Cascades, Grand Canyon, Zion, Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, Acoma City, Malheur Natnl. Wildlife Refuge, Redwoods, Yosemite, Death Valley, Steens Mtn., Hells Canyon, The Oregon Trail, The Lewis and Clark Trail, Wallowa Mtns. (Nez Perce & Chief Joseph), The Great Missoula Floods Trail, and so many other locations throughout North America. This is not his job. This is his passion!
